Management Team

We uphold an open-door policy in the work environment of Fiji Hardwood Corporation Limited. As part of our management philosophy, it is our responsibility to maintain an approachable demeanor to facilitate efficient and effective problem-solving with our staff.

The ultimate goal is a triple win…

The FHCL’s strategic plan for 2023 to 2025 is primarily focused on three key objectives.

These objectives involve ensuring an adequate supply of logs for specialized decorative applications within Fiji’s Forest Sector Industry, safeguarding the long-term sustainability of Fiji’s mahogany resources through reforestation in areas where mahogany has been harvested, and maintaining a constant commitment to enhancing and maintaining the FHCL plantation estate.

Despite the new set of challenges COVID19 brought to how we deliver our services, FHCL continues to actively adapt and reevaluate its fundamental operations to fortify its capacity to endure similar adverse circumstances in the future.

Our plan is both ambitious and forward-thinking, while also grounded in practicality. It acknowledges FHCL’s unwavering dedication to empowering its vital stakeholders, enhancing service quality, and fostering substantial collaboration with key parties such as the Government, landowners, rural communities, and business partners.

“FHCL’s responsibility is to ensure that the entire mahogany industry is sustainable from an economic, social and environmental perspective. The ultimate goal is a triple win for our economy, people and environment.”
